Community Unites for Beach Cleaning Campaign in Lumut

Lumut – A beach cleaning campaign was organized at the Liang Lumut Recreation Club on the morning of 9th December, led by the Kampung Lumut Dua Consultative Council, the ‘Pesilat Warisan Pelangi’ Association, and the Veterans Association of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Belait District branch. The event coincided with the Day of Action campaign and International Volunteer Day.

According to Radio Television Brunei, A Member of the Legislative Council attended the campaign, which aimed to foster a spirit of volunteerism within the community. The initiative brought together various community members to participate in environmental conservation efforts, emphasizing the importance of collective action in maintaining and preserving the natural beauty of the beaches in Brunei.
