Prayer Refining Programme for New Converts

The Refining Prayer Programme For Converts is an effort to empower new Muslim converts with high quality knowledge on performing solat or prayer based on strong faith and high value competency. This is to enable them to face challenges towards religious progress in life in this world and the hereafter. Held in conjunction with the Isra' Mi'raj 1444 Hijrah celebration the programme took place simultaneously in the four districts yesterday morning. It is organised by the Islamic Da'wah Centre through the Muallaf Development Division, Tarbiyah Muallaf.

In Brunei Muara District, 43 participants took part in the programme at the Islamic Da'wah Centre Conference Hall. It included guidance for converts on how to perform wudhu or ablution using a spray bottle.

In Belait District, 34 participants took part in the programme was held at the Multipurpose Hall of Kuala Belait Da'wah Unit. It aimed to enhance understanding on the obligation to perform the five times daily prayers.

Meanwhile 51 participants attended the session at Kampung Bang Dalam Mosque in Tutong District. It's objective was to instil a sense of responsibility to perform the daily prayers.

A similar programme took place at Kampung Sibut Religious Hall in Temburong District, attended by 36 new converts. It is hoped they will continue performing prayers and religious deeds to gain Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala's blessings.
