Quezon City Police Apprehend Four Most Wanted Individuals

Quezon City, Philippines - The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) successfully apprehended four individuals ranked among the most wanted in separate operations conducted on May 3. These arrests targeted suspects involved in various criminal activities including carnapping, estafa, and drug-related offenses.

According to Philippines News Agency, 31-year-old Edison Miller, ranked as the No. 9 most wanted person at the district level, was arrested in Sikatuna Village. Miller was apprehended based on a warrant for carnapping issued by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 76. In another operation, the Cubao Police Station 7 detained 59-year-old Marina Cayanan, the No. 7 most wanted person from Tarlac City, on six counts of estafa as per the warrant issued by the Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 135. Cayanan was located and arrested at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology's facility in Tarlac City.

Furthermore, the Eastwood Police Station (PS-12) captured 26-year-old Joseph Espadon, also listed as the No. 7 most wanted person by the Tapaz Municipal Police Station in Mambusao, Capiz. Espadon, who was wanted for frustrated murder, was taken into custody in front of the Partas Bus terminal in Sampaloc, Manila. Lastly, officers from the Payatas Bagong Silangan PS-13 served an arrest warrant on Alfredo Tela, 51, ranked as their No. 10 most wanted. Tela faces charges under two counts of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
