BUTUAN CITY - The Philippine Statistics Authority in the Caraga Region (PSA-13) has successfully authenticated the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration for 8,950 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) as of March this year. This milestone was achieved in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Caraga (DSWD-13).

According to Philippine News Agency, the effort to authenticate PhilSys registrations is part of a broader initiative to ensure that all 4Ps beneficiaries in the region are included in the national identification system. The process was accelerated from February to March 2024, with DSWD-13 incentivizing PhilSys enrollment among unregistered 4Ps recipients. During this period, an additional 5,915 beneficiaries completed their Step 2 registration for PhilSys.

The initiative underscores the government's commitment to leveraging digital systems to enhance the efficiency of social welfare programs. By integrating 4Ps beneficiaries into the PhilSys, authorities aim to streamline administrative processes and improve the delivery of services to those in need across the region.
