Post: PDEA Seizes PHP3.4 Million Worth of ‘Shabu’ in Cavite

Trece Martires, Cavite – In a significant drug bust, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Cavite and Pampanga seized approximately PHP3.4 million worth of suspected shabu from a couple during a buy-bust operation in Trece Martires, Cavite.

According to Philippines News Agency, The suspects, identified as Aljune and Aida Mangulamnas, residents of Goldez Horizon Subdivision in Barangay Hugo Perez, were apprehended while attempting to sell illegal drugs to an undercover agent. During the operation, the police confiscated five knot-tied transparent plastic bags containing about 500 grams of suspected shabu and the marked money used in the sting. The couple is reportedly involved in the large-scale distribution of shabu in Metro Manila and nearby towns in Bulacan. The suspects are now facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165).
