In the Belait District, the ceremony was held at Taman Persiaran Cendera Kenangan in Kuala Belait, with Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer, presiding over the event. The Tutong District ceremony took place at the Tutong District Civic Hall Complex, led by Awang Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Tutong District Officer. A Member of the Legislative Council was present at both events. Similarly, in the Temburong District, the flag was lowered at the Dermaga Area of Bangar Town, with Awang Mohammad Yassin bin Haji Ahmed, Acting Temburong District Officer, in attendance, accompanied by a Member of the Legislative Council.

According to Radio Television Brunei, these ceremonies across the districts underscored the national solidarity and commemoration of Brunei's journey since its independence, uniting the country in a shared expression of national identity and pride.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — The Kampung Putat Consultative Council and the Kampung Putat Mosque Takmir Committee successfully held the 31st annual Tahlil and Doa Arwah Sekampung Ceremony at the Kampung Putat Mosque on the morning of February 25th. The event, deeply rooted in community and spiritual values, was attended by notable figures including Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event is a significant tradition in Kampung Putat, aimed at commemorating the deceased members of the community through prayers and recitations. The gathering also served as an opportunity to provide support to the less fortunate, with donations being presented to several orphans within the village.
