A ‘Majlis Berselawat’ or Recitation of Selawat ceremony was held yesterday morning to mark the opening of the Noble Hair of Rasulullah SAW Gallery in conjunction with the Re-Opening of the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The ceremony took place at the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Jalan Pengiran Babu Raja in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister At The Prime Minister’s Office; Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister Of Religious Affairs; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister Of Primary Resources And Tourism.
The ceremony began with a presentation of Selawat and Dikir Syarafil Anam by students of the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Quran Institute in the Noble Hair of SAW Gallery and ended with the Doa Peliharakan Sultan. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office. The Noble Hair of SAW Gallery is open to public until 18th of
