Language Month 2025 Celebrates Linguistic Diversity with ‘Tamu Bahasa’ Event

Berakas: In conjunction with the Language Month 2025, the Language and Literature Bureau’s Language Construction and Development Division organized a ‘Tamu Bahasa’ on the morning of September 10th. The event took place at the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, the Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau. The program included a presentation titled ‘Pemerkasaan Bahasa Melayu dan Bahasa Minoriti di Negara Brunei Darussalam: Langkah Pelestarian Kepelbagaian Bahasa’. A total of 77 individuals participated, including government department officers, students, youths, language and literature enthusiasts, writers, private individuals, and social media users.
