The country's first Haj flight leaves for Madinah, Saudi Arabia tomorrow, 15th June 2022. Yesterday afternoon, the intending Haj pilgrims checked in their baggage at Brunei International Airport in Berakas.
The standing rule is that the Haj baggage must be checked in at the airport a day before the scheduled flight. Intending pilgrims are also reminded not to bring prohibited goods into the aircraft. The first batch of 247 Haj pilgrims will leave at eleven tomorrow morning on Flight BI4201. The second flight is scheduled to leave on Thursday 16th June 2022 and baggage should be checked in tomorrow 15th June 2022 from 12 noon to 3 in the afternoon.
