Gaza – The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that the death toll in the Gaza Strip from Israeli attacks has reached 14,128. The ministry's statement, released on Tuesday, highlights the extensive human cost of the ongoing conflict.
According to Philippines News Agency, The Health Ministry's statement detailed that the victims include over 5,840 children and 3,920 women. Israel's air and ground attacks in the Gaza Strip began following a cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7. The offensive has led to widespread destruction, with thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques, and churches, being damaged or destroyed. Additionally, an Israeli blockade has severely restricted access to essential supplies like fuel, electricity, and water, and has limited aid deliveries to the region. On the Israeli side, the official death toll stands at about 1,200. The situation in Gaza remains dire, with the ongoing conflict and blockade exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the enclave.
