Quezon City – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has expressed gratitude to its partner agencies for their pivotal role in the successful observance of the 123rd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA). The recognition was given during an Appreciation Program held at the CSC Resource Center in Quezon City.
According to Philippines News Agency, CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles conveyed the agency's appreciation during the November 15 event, noting the challenges of rallying government agencies and offices from across the country to participate in the PCSA activities. Nograles highlighted the complexity of this task and the invaluable partnerships and collaborations that made the celebration possible. The Appreciation Program featured both onsite and online formats, including audio-visual presentations and expressions of gratitude from CSC officials. Certificates of recognition were presented to government offices, private institutions, stakeholders, and CSC officials and employees nationwide for their support and contributions.
Among the recognized partner agencies were the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Government Service Insurance System, Philippine Information Agency, Insurance Commission, Philippine Blood Center, Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital, Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital, Department of Health, Philippine Dental Association, Baguio City Health Services Office, and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. The CSC also thanked the Provincial Government of Rizal; Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region 3; City Environment and Natural Resources Office of Capas, Tarlac; Municipal Government of Tanay, Rizal; Laguna Lake Development Authority; and various other governmental bodies for their assistance.
The event also acknowledged the contributions of several business establishments that granted special privileges to civil servants throughout September. These included SM Appliance Center, SM Supermalls, SM Foundation, JobStreet by SEEK, MX3 Philippines, Generika Drugstore, Ka Tunying's, Watsons Philippines, Star City, Majesty Driving School, Hi-Q appliance, Auto-Dox Car Care Center, and the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company.
This year's PCSA celebration emphasized the importance of dynamism among government workers to foster sustainable management and organizational resilience, preparing a future-ready civil service. The month-long celebration involved 1.9 million civil servants nationwide in various activities like Online Zumba, Film Showing, Virtual Launch, Press Briefing, Government Online Career Fair, Bloodletting Activity, Plant-Run, Medical Mission, Public Sector HR Symposium, Search for Outstanding Government Workers, Contact Center ng Bayan Partner Recognition Program, and special treats for government workers.
