Brunei ICT Awards 2025 Ceremony Celebrates Innovation and Creativity in Technology

Bandar seri begawan: The Brunei ICT Awards (BICTA) 2025 Ceremony, aimed at fostering innovation and creativity in information and communication technology, recently took place at the Arts Centre, Jerudong International School. Organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications in collaboration with the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) and InfoCom Federation Brunei (IFB), the event included the presentation of prizes to winners and Merit recipients, as well as the Smart Nation Award winners.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. The event featured a screening of a video titled “BICTA 2025 Journey” and the presentation of the Judges’ Report. Furthermore, category winners were given the opportunity to represent Brunei at the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2025, scheduled to be held in December in Chinese Taipei.
