Brunei Darussalam Delegation Returns with Awards from the 22nd Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards

Brunei Darussalam – The Brunei Darussalam delegation to the 22nd Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2023, recently held in Hong Kong, returned home on the afternoon of 10th December with three Merit awards. The awards ceremony recognized the best in ICT innovation across the Asia Pacific region.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Present at the Brunei International Airport to welcome the delegation was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. Ma’had Islam Brunei received two Merit awards in the Junior Student Category for their products ‘Brugency’ and ‘Mr Grabbish’, while ODE Aquaculture and Agriculture Company Sdn Bhd earned a Merit award in the Technology – Internet of Things category for ‘Alquatic Tech’. Significantly, Brunei Darussalam has been announced as the host for the 23rd APICTA Awards in 2024.
