The importance of the Maqasid or objectives principles in the governance of an organisation and also daily life of civil servants as well as Syari'ah Maqasid Principles was explained during the dissemination of the Syari'ah Maqasid Strategic Project in the Management and Administration of Brunei Darussalam yesterday morning. The briefing touched on the efficacy of the implementation of all five elements of Maqasid Syari'ah in Brunei Darussalam's management and administration.
The briefing among others highlighted the Maqasid Syari'ah Principles so that it can be assimilated by the country's civil servants in living a religious, monarchical and national life. One hundred and 50 officers and staff of departments under the Ministry of Finance and Economy attended the briefing. It was organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Muraqib Unit in collaboration with the Human Resource Development Section, Human Resource Development and Corporate Affairs Division, Ministry of Finance and Economy.
