The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) is on track to unveil partial outcomes from its comprehensive report card survey (RCS 2.0) by July, aligning with the annual State of the Nation Address (SONA) by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
According to Philippines News Agency, approximately 60 percent of the evaluation across 860 targeted government entities has been completed. The RCS 2.0 aims to critically assess the service standards of various government offices. Perez expressed optimism about finalizing the survey by July, with an initial set of findings expected to be disclosed prior to the President's SONA, providing an opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of local government units (LGUs) and national agencies compliant with the Ease of Doing Business Law.
The RCS 2.0 is designed to measure the performance of government offices by collecting direct feedback from citizens and businesses, evaluating their compliance with Republic Act (RA) 11032, also known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018. ARTA utilizes a range of evaluative tools in this process, including compliance reports, survey questionnaires, inspection checklists, client satisfaction assessments, and acknowledgments for exemplary service.
This initiative's first phase spans from late November 2023 to March 2024, highlighting ARTA's commitment to enhancing transparency and efficiency in government service delivery, and is poised to offer valuable insights into the effectiveness of public sector operations across the nation.
