The busy atmosphere of preparing to celebrate the day of victory for the Muslim ummah can be now be felt. Shopping centres are the public's focus especially in the final moments before Hari Raya Aidil Fitri. RTB's crew took a closer look at the shops and shopping centres in Brunei Muara District.
A number of roads towards shopping centres are congested more than usual. The atmosphere of the final preparations for Aidilfitri especially in shopping centres saw crowds of people buying their special Hari Raya needs.
Festive goods can be seen filling the spaces at shopping centres and supermarkets as well as shops with attractive prices on offer in line with the Brunei Aneka sales 2019. Some companies had to construct adjunct spaces to store new stock. Not only that, business hours were extended and the shop's facade were enlivened with coloured decorative lights.
The Hari Raya preparations and decorations have become the norm for the public as a sign of gratefulness but not all things need to be brand-new. Islam teaches the ummah to be prudent in spending apart from buying only the necessities and not waste as well as celebrate in moderation according to their respective capabilities.
