The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has expressed great pleasure and appreciation to the officers of Brunei Darussalam's Haj Management (Administration and Medical) on their efforts work. The Kingdom praised the management for maintaining their excellent haj management and administration that enabled Brunei Darussalam's haj pilgrims to perform the Haj properly and safely. The Deputy Minister of Haj and Umrah of the the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shared the matter during the Ministerial Haj Management Meeting 1440 Hijrah. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Haj and Umrah BuIlding in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Doctor Abdul Fattah bin Sulaiman Mashat added the Brunei Darussalam's hajj pilgrims continued to show they were disciplined pilgrims and always obeyed the rules set by the government of Saudi Arabia and were truly fully focused on performing the haj rituals correctly. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia and the related agencies are always prepared to provide assistance to hajj pilgrims including those from Brunei Darussalam. This is in line with the call of Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abd. Aziz Al-Saud to provide excellent services to all hajj pilgrims.

Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs in his speech expressed appreciation dan gratitude as well as congratulations to the government of Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah as well as the related parties in Saudi Arabia on the management and excellent handling as well as good treatment given to the hajj pilgrims throughout the 1439 hijrah haj season. He welcomed the good commitment of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to continue holding meetings and discussions on the hajj management affairs with the Ministry of Religious Affairs, especially on the security, welfare and comfort of Brunei Darussalam's hajj pilgrims during each hajj season.

At the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia also stated that efforts are being implement by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to further upgrade and improve the hajj management affairs as accommodation, transportation, aviation, e-hajj system and others for the 1440 hijrah haj season. After the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia signed the agreement agreed in the meeting. Also present were His Excellency Dato Seri Setia Haji Yusoff bin Haji Ismail, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Saudi Arabia and Pengiran Haji Irman bin Pengiran Haji Othman, the Acting Consul General of Brunei Darussalam in Jeddah.
