KAMPUNG KATOK, Brunei — The Acting Brunei Muara District Officer highlighted the importance of leadership in community progress and development during the Voting and Selection process for the Village Head Candidate of Kampung Skim Tanah Kurnia Rakyat Jati (STKRJ), Mata-Mata Katok 'B'. The ceremony took place on the morning of March 3rd at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Girls Secondary Arabic Religious School.
According to Radio Television Brunei, a village head's role is crucial for spearheading reforms and development in line with Wawasan Brunei 2035. Pengiran Muhammad Redzuan bin Pengiran Haji Said, aged 42, stood as the sole candidate for the position. The event also saw the presence of a member of the Legislative Council. The voting results are set to be submitted to the Board of Appointment, Discipline and Procedures for Mukim Penghulu and Village Head at the Ministry of Home Affairs, marking the next phase in the selection process.
