Seria: A man was reported missing and believed to have fallen victim to a crocodile attack while fishing in Kampung Sungai Bera, Seria. The Fire and Rescue Department received a call at 6:05 on the afternoon of 24th June. Following this, a Tactical Command Post was established, and firefighters conducted search operations on the riverbank every three hours.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the search and rescue operation was called off at midnight and resumed on 25th June 2026. The authorities are continuing their efforts to locate the missing individual, focusing on the areas surrounding the riverbank where the incident occurred. The community remains on alert, and local residents have been advised to exercise caution near the water as the search operations continue.
