Take Safety Measures during Active Weather


Brunei: The active weather over the past few days has caused heavy rains, resulting in several areas and roads in the country being flooded. Following this, the public are advised to remain vigilant, avoid areas at risk of flooding and landslides, and use alternative routes if main routes are affected.



According to Radio Television Brunei, RTB crew looked at several areas around the Brunei Muara District experiencing flash floods. Among the affected areas are Kampung Lambak and Lugu. The public are advised to plan their travel in advance and prioritize safety for themselves, their families, and property during this rainy season.



In the Belait District, the affected areas include Jalan Kengan Seria, Jalan Singa Menteri, Jalan Sungai Pandan, and Jalan Maulana. Drivers are advised to be more careful when driving through water-covered roads.



Meanwhile, several mukims in the Tutong District are also affected due to the uncertain weather conditions and continuous rain. The areas impacted include Mukim Keriam, Mukim Telisai, Mukim Kiudang, Mukim Rambai, Mukim Tanjong Maya, Mukim Lamunin, Mukim Pekan Tutong, and Mukim Ukong.
