Bandar seri begawan: As-Salaam Mosque, which has been serving the community for a year since its first Fardhu Friday Prayer on December 6, 2024, marked its first anniversary with a Tahlil Arwah Sekampong Ceremony on the night of January 8.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Brunei Muara District Officer, alongside Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad Ali bin Tanjong, a Member of the Legislative Council. The mosque, beyond being a place for daily and Friday prayers, plays a role in hosting religious activities aimed at spreading Islamic teachings within the community.
