As part of welcoming the upcoming month of Ramadhan, it is important for Muslims to prepare themselves before the arrival of the holy month. Muslims must also be grateful by praising Allah for the opportunity to perform religious acts during Ramadhan. This was among the contents of a Special Talk in Welcoming the Month of Ramadhan, held in conjunction with the 39th National Day celebration. The event was held on 18th March morning, at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong District.
The talk titled 'Menjelang Ramadhan' was delivered by Awang Haji Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustafa, Religious Development Officer at the Islamic Da'wah Centre. In the talk, Muslims are urged to seize the opportunity to perform Tarawih prayers, as there is one special night that is better than a thousand months namely the Lailatul Qadar or Night of the Decree. Among those present, Awangku Arif Anuar bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad, Acting Tutong District Officer.
