Prime Minister’s Office Budget Focuses on National Prosperity and Growth
Bandar Seri Begawan: The council reviewed the Prime Minister’s Office budget allocation focus for the financial year 2025/2026. The Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence stated that the estimated expenditure for the Prime Minister’s Office and its departments was formulated with an emphasis on the goals and expenditure priorities that align with the national budget theme, “United to Build a More Prosperous Future,” as well as the Strategic Plan of the Prime Minister’s Office and its departments. These expenditures are structured around three national budget priorities.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the first priority is enhancing public well-being and productivity. The Prime Minister’s Office and its agencies have established strategies aimed at preserving political stability and maintaining the country’s sovereignty. The second priority involves leading sustainable economic diversification efforts. The Prime Minister’s Office is dedicated to the creation and implementation of effective policies. The third priority focuses on developing dynamic and visionary human capital, with a commitment to providing capacity development programs designed to enhance the skills of civil servants.
