Post: Philippine Cycling Team to Compete in Thailand Races

MANILA — The 7-Eleven Cliqq Road Bike Philippines team is gearing up for participation in two upcoming races in Thailand, showcasing the talents of six Filipino cyclists alongside international teammates. The team will compete in the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Bueng Si Fai International Road race and the Princes Maja Chakri Shirindorn's Cup, as announced by Director Ric Rodriguez.

According to the Philippine News Agency,This participation is part of the team's broader objective to enhance the skills of Filipino riders, particularly those under 23, through exposure to international competition. The team, now in its 13th year as a professional ensemble, emphasizes the development of young talent, supported by performance coach Robert Herbert Jr., a certified UCI level 4 mentor. The involvement in these races underscores the commitment of team owners and founders to fostering a strong foundation for Philippine cycling on the global stage.
