Munajat Night Highlights 69 Years of Formal Religious Education

Bandar seri begawan: Formal Religious Education has reached 69 years in the country, marking a significant milestone in embedding religious knowledge as a cornerstone for the development of the nation. A tazkirah or lecture titled ‘Ilmu dan Amal sebagai Cahaya Kehidupan’ highlighted this achievement during the 199th Munajat Night, held in conjunction with the anniversary.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was led by Awang Haji Mohammad Ahsanul Azmi bin Haji Sarbini, Acting Assistant Director of the Educational Institution at the Islamic Studies Department, who commenced the evening with the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah. The Doa Munajat was delivered by Pengiran Mohamad Aminuddin bin Pengiran Haji Hussin, Acting Assistant Director for Professional, Islamic Studies Department. The program included the reading of Surah Yasin and the recitation of selawat, bringing together academic staff, teachers from the Islamic Studies Department, congregants from various mosques, and private individuals nationwide.
