Wargamas Association Holds 79-time Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony to Honor His Majesty’s Birthday

Bandar seri begawan: In conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration, the Wargamas Association organized a 79-time Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony at An-Naim Mosque in Kampung Panchor Mengkubau on the morning of September 21.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Roselan bin Haji Mohd Daud, the Chief Executive Officer of Bank Usahawan. The event continued with a mass reading from Surah Ad-Duha to Surah An-Nas.

Alongside the Quranic recitation, the ceremony featured a waqaf presentation, emphasizing the community’s commitment to charity and religious devotion. The event was part of a series of activities planned to commemorate His Majesty’s 79th birthday, reflecting the nation’s respect and gratitude for its leader.
