Post: Ministry of Education Explains Changes in Religious Subjects Integration

During a press conference, Dr. Shamsiah, Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education, highlighted distinctions between the new and old systems of religious education.

According to a new release by Radio Television Brunei, the integration will reduce the time children spend in school from seven hours to six. The administration and management of religious teachers will remain under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The curriculum will be adapted to suit the age and level of the students. Teachers assigned for religious subjects will continue to be those selected by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, ensuring that educational quality is maintained.
