Malaysian High Commission Kicks Off Inaugural Laksa Festival in Brunei
Bandar Seri Begawan – Embracing the cultural diversity of Malaysia, the first Laksa Festival was inaugurated by the Malaysian High Commission in conjunction with The Rizqun International Hotel and Tourism Malaysia on the 3rd of November.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the festival, which will run until Sunday, 5th November, was attended by notable figures including Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, and His Excellency Dato Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah, Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam. The event celebrates the diverse array of Malaysian Laksa and serves as part of Malaysia’s cultural diplomacy, aiming to promote its food and culture globally.
