Launching of Online Haj Registration System ‘Bruhaj’ Garners Overwhelming Response

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Online Haj Registration System, ‘Bruhaj’, received an encouraging response since its launch on the morning of January 20th. More than 200 individuals registered, alongside over a thousand group registrations. By leveraging information and communication technology, the system aims to enhance the quality of Haj registration services, transitioning from a manual process to a more systematic approach. The launch event was held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the launch was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs. Haj registration through the ‘Bruhaj’ System is accessible by logging in via e-Darussalam. Registration is free and available exclusively to citizens of Brunei Darussalam and holders of yellow Smart Cards, beginning January 20th. Additionally, the Haj Management Department has set up the ‘Bruhaj’ Clinic to assist the public in using the system. The clinics are available at the Foyer, Ground Floor, Ministry of Religious Affairs, and the Religious Affairs Offices in Belait District, Tutong District, and Temburong District during office hours. For individuals who registered for Haj prior to the introduction of the ‘Bruhaj’ System, re-registration is not required.
