Universiti Brunei Darussalam's Shell Eco-Marathon Asia team, Perkasa Darussalam will participate in the Shell Eco-Marathon Asia Competition, which will be held in Lombok, Indonesia from 4th to 9th July 2023. The launching of its prototype battery electric vehicle, named 'Mantuka Aswad' was launched yesterday afternoon at UBD.
The launch was officiated by Doctor Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Vice Chancellor of UBD. Perkasa Darussalam comprise students from the Faculty of Integrated Technologies. This year marks the 8th time UBD is participating in the Competition. The participation of Perkasa Darussalam in the competition reflects part of the efforts towards Wawasan Brunei 2035.
