Bandar Seri Begawan: Business owners, managers, retailers, suppliers, and importers are reminded to be vigilant when importing products for sale, and to ensure halal products are not mixed with non-halal ones. The Ministry of Religious Affairs made the reminder after the Halal Food Control Division, Syariah Affairs Department found that a Japanese Spout Cleaning Brush Set is made with pig bristles.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in this regard, the Syariah Affairs Department ordered for the removal of the said product immediately.
