Cruise Ship Vasco Da Gama Makes Inaugural Visit to Brunei Darussalam.
Bandar Seri Begawan: The CMV Vasco Da Gama-Nicko made its inaugural call to Brunei Darussalam, arriving from Semarang, Indonesia. This marks the eighth international cruise ship to visit the Sultanate in 2024. The vessel carries 627 passengers and 496 crew members, providing them with an opportunity to explore Brunei’s iconic attractions before continuing their journey.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the stopover allowed passengers to embark on guided tours to key destinations, including the Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, and to sample local delicacies. The steady arrival of international cruise ships signifies Brunei’s growing reputation as a premier cruise destination, attracting more visitors to its shores.
