In providing opportunities for existing local workforce in the energy sector to upskill and gain recognized qualifications in technical areas, the industry Learn and Excel Apprenticeship Programme, iLEAP and SkillsHub was launched this morning.
The launching was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy as the Chairman of the Manpower Planning and Employment Council, MPEC. The event ran-concurrently with the certificates presentation to companies participated in iLEAP and the placement for the first cohort if iSkill trainees. The event was jointly organised by the MPEC Secretariat under the Prime Minister's Office and the Manpower Industry Steering Committee Working Group, MISC-WG Energy. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw, Deputy Minister, Department of Energy at the Prime Minister's Office.
