Home Isolation Policy for COVID-19 Patients

In the media conference, the Minister of Health shared that since the commencement of the Home Isolation Policy for COVID-19 patients on the 8th of October 2021, 507 patients in Category 1 and Category 2a are currently undergoing their self-isolation at homes.

 

The Ministry of Health reminded all patients to comply with the directives of the self-isolation at home and provide cooperation to the Ministry of Health when contacted. Monitoring of patients such as through telephone calls are made by the Ministry of Health to ensure that patients are in good condition and the symptoms of their infection do not worsen. Permission to undergo self-isolation at home will be revoked for anyone found not cooperating during the monitoring and they will be taken to isolation centres.
