The Brunei Darussalam Haj Affairs Management Meeting for 2023 was held virtually for the first time yesterday afternoon between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Ministry of Haj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs was represented by Awang Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and His Excellency Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusof bin Ismail, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Saudi Arabia. The meeting discussed on Brunei Darussalam’s pilgrim quota, transportation and accommodation in Arafah and Mina, as well as regulations related to the safety, health and well-being of the country’s pilgrims. The results of the meeting will be followed up with a Ministerial meeting in January in Saudi Arabia.
