BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — A significant electoral event took place at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School in Kampung Rimba, where residents of Mukim Gadong ‘A’ gathered for the Voting and Election Ceremony of their new Penghulu Mukim candidate. According to Radio Television Brunei, Present at the event was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan, a Member of the Legislative Council. The candidates, Haji Awang Adnan bin A. Haji Bagol and Awang Haji Muhammad Nur Ihsan bin Haji Mat Jali, are competing to fill the vacancy in this crucial local government role. The voting process is set to continue this Sunday at the same venue, highlighting the community’s active participation in their local governance.
