Dutch National Converts to Islam in Brunei


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — In a profound personal journey of faith, a Dutch man, Edwin Van Der Nol, converted to Islam after reciting the Islamic Oath during a Conversion Ceremony held on the afternoon of August 9th. The event took place at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque, located at the Prime Minister’s Office in Brunei.



According to Radio Television Brunei, The ceremony was conducted by Awang Haji Abd Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, the Director of the Islamic Da’wah Centre. This conversion is part of a larger trend observed since early January, where more than two hundred individuals nationwide have embraced Islam, reflecting the growing influence and outreach of the Islamic Da’wah Centre in the country.
