Berakas: The Final of the National Level Musabaqah Al-Qur'an Reading 1446 Hijrah/2025 continued at the International Convention Centre, Berakas. Gracing the ceremony was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah. Six more participants presented their readings on the second night, April 23rd.
According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by several distinguished figures, including Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Yang Di-Pertua of Adat Istiadat Negara. Other prominent attendees included Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, and various ministers from other key government offices.
The evening commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Emran bin Haji Kunchang. The participants who took the stage included Awang Abdul Qawiyyel Azeez bin Haji Abdul Rajid, Dayang Amal Nazirah binti Haji Asmat, and Awang Ahmad Zulwaqar bin Haji Suhaili. A performance of Selawat, Nuril Anwar, added to the ceremonial atmosphere.
The recitations continued with presentations by Dayang Nur Rodaah binti Haji Asmat, Awang Haji Hazwan bin Haji Salim, and Dayangku Amal Zahirah binti Pengiran Haji Jofri, each showcasing their skills in the reading of the Qur'an. The event marked a significant cultural and religious gathering, highlighting the spiritual and communal aspects of the Musabaqah tradition.
