Tutong: The Department of Electrical Services (DES) has announced the full restoration of power supply to the Bukit Barun Water Treatment Plant and the Layong Water Treatment Plant in Tutong District. The disruption, which began on March 1st, was caused by damage to the main switching equipment at the Lamunin Main Electricity Station.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the repair works on the electricity supply were completed on March 3rd at 3:03 in the afternoon. DES expressed gratitude to the Public Works Department for its cooperation during the restoration efforts. The department also thanked the public for their patience and confidence while the repair works were being conducted.
