Post: Adulterated Health Product Found with Undeclared Poisons

Bandar seri begawan: A health product has been discovered to contain undeclared, scheduled poisons as per the Poisons Act 1956. The Ministry of Health has highlighted that the adulterants found in the MIDOS SUJIN TONMAININ product pose significant health risks to consumers. These risks include increased blood glucose levels, potentially leading to diabetes, high blood pressure, cataracts, muscular and bone disorders, and a heightened risk of infections. Additionally, the consumption of this product could result in Cushing's syndrome. According to Radio Television Brunei, the Ministry of Health has not granted any approval for the importation or sale of this product. Individuals who have purchased or used MIDOS SUJIN TONMAININ are strongly advised to discontinue its use immediately. The ministry further urges them to consult a medical practitioner if they experience any unwellness or adverse reactions due to the product's consumption.
