Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza Receives $4,450 Donation

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023 has been bolstered by a contribution of $4,450. The donation was formally presented during a ceremony held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the donation was presented to Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The funds were collected by former Form 4 students of Sultan Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien College from the 1975 batch.

The contribution was part of the celebrations marking the Golden Jubilee of the college’s Form 4 students, commemorating 50 years since their time at the institution. The event aimed to bring together the alumni and contribute to a meaningful cause, reflecting the spirit of giving back to the community.
