Doa Kesyukuran Marks World Al-Azhar Al-Syarif Day in Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan: In conjunction with World Al-Azhar Al-Syarif Day, celebrated every 7th of Ramadhan, the Rabitah International Alumni of Al-Azhar Al-Syarif Brunei Darussalam organized a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony at An-Na’im Mosque, Kampung Panchor Mengkubau National Housing Scheme on the afternoon of March 6th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony began with the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah al-Fatihah, led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman. He serves as the Minister of Religious Affairs and is the Chairman of the Rabitah International Alumni of Al-Azhar Al-Syarif Brunei Darussalam.

The event featured a talk and included a donation presentation to orphans of Al-Azhar alumni and residents of Kampung Panchor Mengkubau. Additionally, an endowment presentation to the mosque was held as part of the ceremony.
