The Heritage and Culture of the Malay people are inseparable with Islamic civilisation. The matter was among the contents of the Dawn Talk titled 'Menjayakan Wawasan Negara - Warisan dan Budaya: Pembangunan Jati Diri Bangsa Brunei'. The talk was held at the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Bandar Seri Begawan, in conjunction with the 39th Semangat Hari Kebangsaan Cycling Recreation.
Awang Muhammad Yussof bin Haji Abdul Majid, Special Duties Officer Grade Two, Ministry of Religious Affairs, in the talk also touched on the Malay cultural values which will continue to be practised. Among those present were Cabinet Ministers.
