Brunei Salebration 2023 Set to Boost Local Economy

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Brunei Salebration 2023, scheduled from 4th December to 15th February 2024, aims to revitalize the economy by promoting local products and tourism. This initiative is part of the strategic efforts by the Department of Economic Planning and Statistics (JPES) at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

According to Radio Television Brunei, retailers from various sectors are encouraged to participate by offering discounts and competitive pricing to attract customers. The event will be an opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and services, with details about participating retailers available on the ‘PenggunaBijak’ application. JPES has reminded all retailers to adhere to fair trading regulations and display prices and discounts clearly. Those interested in joining can download the Brunei Salebration Notification Form from the JPES website or the ‘PenggunaBijak’ app and submit it via email or at the Department of Consumer Affairs by the 20th of November.
