Special Mass Sunat Hajat Prayer Held for Sultan’s Good Health

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Ministry of Religious Affairs organized a Special Mass Sunat Hajat Prayer to seek the good health and well-being of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. The event took place at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampung Kiarong on the early morning of May 28.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the prayer was attended by several notable figures, including Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that the Mass Sunat Hajat Prayer will continue to be performed at all mosques, suraus, and religious halls nationwide every day after the Fardhu Maghrib Prayer. On Fridays, the prayer will be held before the Friday Prayer.
