Brunei Darussalam Strengthens Presence in Dive Tourism at Sydney Expo
Bandar Seri Begawan: Brunei Darussalam, through the Tourism Development Department of the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, participated in the Asia Dive Expo and Australia Advance Dive Conference 2025. The event, held at the International Convention Centre Sydney from 15th to 16th of March, provided a platform for the country to showcase its pristine dive sites, historic shipwrecks, and vibrant coral reefs to the Australian market.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the participation reinforced Brunei Darussalam’s position as a rising dive destination in Southeast Asia. Recognising the expo as a key avenue for promoting diving, the Tourism Development Department delegation was joined by local dive operators, hotel representatives, and Royal Brunei Airline.
The two-day event was filled with open networking sessions, providing opportunities to explore potential collaborations and market expansion, with a particular focus on technical diving.
