Post: Awareness Day Spotlights Childhood Cancer and Health Challenges in Tutong

TUTONG — An awareness day focusing on childhood cancer and prevalent health issues among children, such as obesity, anemia, and Thalassemia, was held on 30th June at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong District. The event, themed 'Bersama Kita Lebih Kuat,' was organized by the Children's Cancer Foundation, YASKA, along with volunteers and medical professionals from Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the day was filled with interactive activities aimed at educating the community about the increasing concerns around childhood cancer and other health issues affecting children. The program also included a blood donation campaign, demonstrating a strong community commitment to supporting health initiatives and raising critical awareness on these pressing issues.
