Brunei Darussalam’s Qariah, Dayangku Siti Ummi Syazana binti Pengiran Haji Marjuki took fourth place at the 62nd International Tilawah Al-Quran and Memorisation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The competition was held on the 19th until 24th of October 2022.
The country’s Qari and Qariah, Awang Mohammad bin Ali and Dayangku Siti Ummi Syazana binti Pengiran Haji Marjuki safely arrived in the country on 26th October night. Their arrival at the Brunei International Airport was welcomed by Awang Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri, Acting Director of Administration, Ministry of Religious Affairs as the representative of the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
