Angeles City Unveils New Computer Labs in Public Schools to Enhance Educational Technology
ANGELES CITY – The local government of Angeles City inaugurated state-of-the-art computer laboratories in four public schools on Tuesday, aiming to enhance the educational experience through increased access to technology. The move is part of an ongoing effort to integrate more digital tools into the learning environment.
According to Philippines News Agency, the initiative is a fulfillment of a key campaign promise under the ICT (Information Communication Technology) Modernization Program. The first ribbon-cutting ceremonies took place at the Angeles City National Trade School and the Angeles City National High School, attended by Mayor Lazatin, 1st district Rep. Carmelo Lazatin II, and other city officials. Two additional labs are scheduled to open on Wednesday at Northville 15 Integrated School and Angeles City Senior High School.
Each of the four new laboratories is equipped with 40 computers, complete with essential peripherals like computer tables, chairs, printers, and air conditioning units. The facilities also feature smart televisions and high-speed fiber optics internet connections, setting a high standard for educational technology in the region.
