3rd Place in Shell Eco-Marathon Asia-Pacific and the Middle East 2025 in Qatar

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Universiti Brunei Darussalam’s UBD Shell Eco-marathon team, Belia Tabah, achieved third place in the Shell Eco-marathon Asia-Pacific and the Middle East 2025 held in Qatar.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the team was warmly welcomed at the Brunei International Airport by Doctor Hazri Haji Kifle, Vice Chancellor of UBD. On behalf of the university, Doctor Hazri expressed his appreciation for the team’s determination, which led to their success in the competition. UBD is thrilled to have Brunei Darussalam recognized as one of the top three teams this year, marking a significant contribution towards sustainability and research. The UBD Shell Eco-marathon Organisation and UBD Incubation students collaborate to take part in this global competition, which challenges students to design and construct energy-efficient vehicles.
